I am a native of St Vincent and the Grenadines where I worked as a police officer for five years. I, then migrated to Anguilla where I joined Her Majesty's Prison Anguilla's (HMP Anguilla) service as a basic grade prison officer on the 2007. I am currently a principal prison officer. I am also a certified Chubb locksmith and the use of force instructor for HMP, Anguilla. Both trainings and competencies were undertaken and gained as part of my portfolio of duties and roles at the prison. I have also undertaken numerous trainings in country and trained many staff members. I am also the VHF / UHF radio technician and oversee the CCTV for the prison. I am committed to continuing professional development and constantly up skilling. Security is my passion.

1. MANDATE
To contribute towards the effectiveness of the establishment by ensuring the safe and secure custody of all prisoners and effective delivery of the prison regime as prescribed by The Prison Act RSA c P75 and Prison Regulations RRA P75-1.
2. KEY FUNCTIONS
(i) Be accountable for and advise on all aspects of Security for the establishment and ensure a safe environment for staff, prisoners and visitors.
(ii) Manage the operation of the Communication Room, Segregation Unit and Gate Lodge.
(iii) Be responsible for the recording and achievement of Key Performance Targets delegated to the Security Department.
